Maintenance engineer
Are you an enthusiastic, technically savvy technician with an eye for quality and safety? Then we are looking for you!
When you spot a malfunction, you think in terms of solutions and work with a passion for technology.
You have an affinity with shipping and find it important that the ships are provided with proper maintenance. Besides inspecting the safety equipment, you will carry out repairs, calibrations and measurements so that the ship can safely resume its journey.

DekkControl provides health and safety inspections and inspections on board inland (tanker) ships and on shore. We guarantee quality safety through our years of experience and knowledge.
We are a small team with a friendly, informal atmosphere and have a big dream to grow. We are located in Sliedrecht.
What do we ask of you?
- You have an MBO 3 professional and intellectual level;
- You are eager to learn and dare to take responsibility;
- Commitment to service and customer-oriented work;
- Delivering quality is paramount;
- Some experience in shipping is a plus;
- You are willing to obtain the certificates required;
- You are in possession of driving licence B;
- You have a verbal and written command of the Dutch language. (English and German is a plus)
What do we have to offer?
- Employment of 40 hours;
- Excellent salary between €2,800 and €3,400 gross per month, depending on your experience;
- 25 holidays based on full-time employment;
- 8% vacation allowance;

- One-year contract, with the prospect of a permanent position with good performance;
