Site Safety Coordinator North Holland
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Site Coordinator Safety to take responsibility for all operational activities at our client in the vicinity of Amsterdam. In this role, you are crucial to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. You will manage a team of up to 30 colleagues and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
What will you be doing?
- You are operationally responsible for an assigned client;
- You will coordinate all internal operational matters for this client;
- You will act as the operational point of contact for the client;
- You will manage a team of between 10 to 30 people;
- You translate the organisational strategy and objectives to the project at the client;
- You will manage, coach and improve the operational RBC team at the client;
- You ensure that your position is profitable on an annual basis;
- You maximise the efficiency and cost savings of all operational activities at the client;
- You will inform and coordinate with facilities departments;
- You draw up the project plan and keep it up to date;
- You deliver the identified deliverables per project phase;
- You plan both long-term and short-term;
- You take care of the entire administration;
- You implement and monitor the HSE policy, making adjustments where necessary;
- You will supervise and train operational staff in company-specific topics.
What do we ask of you?
- Intermediate vocational (HBO) intellectual and professional level;
- SCC VOL;
- 5 years of relevant work experience within the industry;
- 2 years of work experience in a managerial position;
- Option: Medium-level safety expert/prevention consultant level 2.
- Living in the Amsterdam area;
- You can do the job as you see fit within the commercial and internal agreements;
- You can take operational decisions;
- You have what it takes to conduct correctional assessment and performance interviews with staff;
