Dekkcontrol joins RBC Group

RBC Brandbeveiliging Nederland, part of the RBC Group, acquires DekkControl.

Based in Sliedrecht, DekkControl is a specialist in occupational health and safety (ARBO) inspections and inspections in the shipping industry. The acquisition is a logical step for both parties. After all, RBC and DekkControl together have forty-five years of experience in the field of inspections and maintenance of (inland) ships and tankers. Together, they already serve most of this market.

Rotterdam-based RBC Group is the largest player in Benelux when it comes to safety and security in the heavy industrial and maritime sector. RBC has grown nicely over the past decade and stands for ‘complete safety’ in everything. Besides organic growth, growth is also achieved through mergers and acquisitions. RBC is successful with national and international organisations in selling and rental of products, services and professionals; all related to safety and security.

Building and strengthening
The goal for RBC Group is simple: to work with DekkControl to build on its interest in the inland shipping and (tanker) ship market. For inspections, maintenance and the provision of safety equipment of all ships docked in the Benelux countries, France and Germany, DekkControl and RBC are the place to be. That is the message that both sides are conveying wholeheartedly.
Directors Michel Tooren and Pim van der Est of RBC and Ad and Dyonne Dekker of DekkControl are enthusiastic about this step. ,,Everyone within our organisations is looking forward to the integration of DekkControl as an independent business unit within RBC Group. Roots

Ad Dekker will enjoy his time off and Dyonne Dekker will continue the services and service with the current team of people, as clients are used to. Dyonne Dekker does this not only as a manager, but also as a shareholder of DekkControl.
