    The Joinstar rapid test cassette is a test that uses the non-invasion method by using saliva from the mouth. The Joinstar COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test (Latex) represents the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein antigen. This test works with high accuracy because of the affinity between ACE2 receptors and S proteins. In addition, the test is also sensitive to several mutants.‍

    Result within 15 minutes

    This saliva test indicates within 15 minutes. The test then indicates whether there is reason to suspect the presence or infectivity of SARS-CoV-2 virus. We recommend contacting your GP after a positive indication.

    Validated self-test

    Joinstar, like Abbott, Roche and Quidel, is validated in Europe and holds valid CE and TüV certificates. Also, this test meets the minimum requirements of the RKI and PEI (the German RIVM) and is included in the BfArM list.
