Rescue Team
In high-risk operations, it is advised to have a Rescue Team on standby for support on the work floor. The Rescue Team oversees, possibly with a manhole watch present, safe working to prevent incidents. Should an incident occur, they intervene immediately. After all, the first minutes after an accident are crucial to save lives and limit damage.
Our Rescue Team is mostly hired by various companies in the Netherlands, but they also ensure safety in the workplace across borders.
Rescue at height, depth and in confined spaces
RBC’s Rescue Team consists of at least three well-coordinated experts in rescues and working at height, depth and in confined spaces. During work in high-risk situations, calamities may occur that endanger worker safety. A worker who can no longer get out of the space safely by themselves is evacuated by a trained and experienced rescue team.
Need a rescue plan?
No two situations are the same and requires a specific approach and rescue equipment. To best manage the risks, a site visit is scheduled prior to the work, after which our Rescue Team Leader (RTL) draws up a rescue plan based on the nature of the work and the various potential risks.
In addition to the rescue technique, a rescue plan also establishes the gas measurement strategy, the work location, the safe location (location where handover to external emergency services can take place) and what resources are needed for this. In short, a task risk analysis (TRA) specific to your project.
