ISPS Port Security
A port company is a vulnerable and potential target for criminal activities. Port security must therefore meet strict security standards. To minimise security incidents at ports, security rules apply. These rules are laid down by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) in the International Ship & Port Facility (ISPS) Code. The ISPS code is an international standard for enhanced security of seagoing vessels and port facilities.
RBC specialises in port and terminal security according to the ISPS code. We look at port security and ensure the right personnel are deployed. In addition to the deployment of ISPS-certified port security, we also offer the following port security services:
- Conducting and supervising ISPS exercises
- Rapid deployment of port security officers
- The deployment of gangway monitoring
- Temporary access control
- Visitation, control of speed, alcohol and drugs
- Deployment of (temporary) camera surveillance and monitoring from our Mobile Guard house. Monitoring from an alarm centre is also among the options.
- Digital reports
- Training of port employees
