Technical solution

RBC’s safety supervision is not limited to just the deployment of people. For instance, in our CCTV ‘Mobile Command Safety Unit’, we have developed an advanced technical solution that takes safety supervision to the next level via camera surveillance, access control and continuous gas detection. Up-to-date data can be compared and used to prevent dangerous situations or take immediate action. Our innovative services therefore offer higher security with cost-saving solutions.

Confined space technology

The CCTV is operated by an engineer and observer who monitor on-site camera surveillance, access controls and continuous gas detection. The engineer and observer alternate between CCTV monitoring and on-site monitoring together and can monitor multiple confined spaces, through the CCTV monitors and gas measurement. Where a manhole watch is commonly used, we use our efficient technology for:

• Indoor and outdoor camera surveillance
• Access control for badging persons in and out
• Continuous gas detection
• Evacuation alarm

Project monitoring technology

For sites where temporary or long-term monitoring is required, such as during a turnaround, our technology allows us to register employees via a badge and provide access to a project area via a turnstile. Authorised employees receive a personal badge, to which the name, company name and registration of the premises to be entered or left is recorded. It makes employee attendance fully managed and controllable. Surveillance with a badge and turnstile can also be supplemented by a camera system to monitor everything 24/7.
